We have been providing a unique experience on North Shore Maui, Hawaii. This is the lush tropical side of Maui. 2 acres beautifully landscaped, large variety of tropical trees and flowers, spacious lawn. Hike to waterfalls, along ocean bluffs, picturesque views of Haleakala Volcano. This incredible home was actually brought from Scandinavia by ship. The logs are over 5 inches deep, cut lengthwise, laminated, squared and triple notched. Real Scandinavian quality, classic design. It sits beautifully perched, one property back from the cliffs of Waipio Bay, a landscape very much like Hana. Only 15 minutes from Hookipa Beach Park, 20 minutes from Paia, 20 minutes from Makawao, 30 minutes from the airport, an hour from Hana.

Steve & Jette Slater have lived in this part of Maui since 1982, have worked as Computer Consultants and had our own Consulting Business (www.vcasa.net ), since then. We live by our integrity, otherwise we would not have stayed in business 24 years on an Island with less than 140,000 residents. Several years ago we were able to buy this incredible property, one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. The entire property over 3 acres, our house is the last house on the road before the driveway to the Chalet. The Chalet was brought over by ship by the previous owner, who was from Finland, it has over 2 acres around it.

2 Bedrooms, 3 sided wrap around deck plus upstairs deck (1,650 sq. ft.) All decks are teak. The Chalet is Finnish Arctic Pine, 12 years old, mint condition. Large 30 Jet Outdoor Jacuzzi Spa, DishNet TV, VCR, DVD, Laptop Computer, High Speed Wireless Internet, Full Kitchen, BBQ, Snorkel Gear.

Really different, beautiful, tropical, Hana style Hawaiian Landscape. Peaceful, relaxing, but surprisingly close.

Mel and I had a wonderful time. The Chalet is just incredible. You thought of everything (Kitchen items, blankets, pillows, snorkle equipment, beach umbrella, chairs, etc) to make us very comfortable.

After 12 years of marriage we finally took time for a real vacation ~ and where better than beautiful Maui? !
Jette, your warm touches throughout the Chalet increases the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
Maui Chalet no ka oi ! This was simply the best place for a couple of newlyweds. We split our time nicely between being tourists ("Cilantro" in Lahaina is the world's best Mexican food, Oluwalu had awesome snorkeling and the Hana road has many hidden surprises) and relaxing here - Wow! I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay here at the Maui Chalet was... Everything was better than we possibly could of imagined. This was the perfect place to spend our honeymood.

Our honeymoon here was more than we could have wanted. The house, location, views, gardens and accomodations were wonderful! The views and privacy are amazing. The Curtin family loved star gazing from the jacuzzi!
Day 1 - came to cabin. loved it at first sight.
Day 2 - Stayed here and relaxed till 12:00 Then we went to Iao Valley
Day 3 - went to goat Dairy farm. Tried and loved goat cheese (froliced with baby goats!)
. . . The Chalet was great to come home to and get away from the craziness of the rest of the island. It is very peaceful here.

Enjoyed our second stay at Maui Chalet just as much as the first!
